About the project

The Effect

Where does feeling end and chemistry begin?

Lucy Prebble’s play follows two participants in a clinical trial of a new antidepressant who fall for each other. The line between real emotion and the body’s chemical response starts to blur.

My role

As co-dramaturg with Nina Brauch, I worked on concept and text, did the research and accompanied the director and actors throughout rehearsals.
